This was the last part of our fabulous Northern European Adventure. A 10 day, 550 km ride, through East Germany and Denmark. No mountains, but hillier than expected, and many deep forests. This was a self-guided trip, but there was a large group of us, meeting at various places along each route, and always at the end of the day. These were all strong cyclists and really great to be with.
We’ve cycled a lot in Germany, but only in the southern part of the former West Germany. Something I noticed on this trip, was that many of the people of my generation did not smile much. Stasi influence from former days?

Len, thanks for the memories and a look at your trip. Always so much easier to travel in Europe than here at home.
Pictures are as always just great.
Are you planning on staying home any time soon???

Does Stag Party man have no shame? Surely he should have worn black underpants, not green.
More great photos Len. I was really surprised to learn that there is a Krakow in Germany.

Me gusto mucho, que todas las fotos son de color. Y
No en blanco y negro como en otras ocasiones. Color le da más vida.
