This town was first settled by German families in the 1870’s. These people were told stories of rich, fertile farming lands, only to find 2 inch top-soil with a 3-month growing season. But, they still ended up in the best country in the world.

These photos are of the old town hall, which was originally a school. Now it’s just for junk storage (but some interesting junk).
