This is a summary of my next 10 weeks of the Facebook #dogwood52 photo challenge.
Week 21 Artistic: Fantasy
I had in mind here to practise my photoshop skills with compositing and a grungy background. All photos were made by me, except the photo of John, of course. The one with me with the Telecaster, was from 1970.
Week 22 Portrait: Hands
(Nice thighs too!) Pedestrian Sunday at the Kensington Market.
Week 23 Landscape: Weather
One of my favourite photos from out Havana trip in April. Some people thought this was Paris… Ah! so romantic! … pina coladas, walkin’ in the rain…
Week 24 Artistic: Sparkle
Another one from Pedestrian Sunday at the Kensington Market. There was a bubble blowing machine on the street.
Week 25 Portrait: Silhouette
This is the Port Credit lighthouse which is more of a tourist landmark than a functioning lighthouse.
Week 26 Landscape: Simplify
Yes, she is back! I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of her.
Week 27 Artistic: Blue
On Cherry Street, Toronto. I thought it was a demonstration about pollution on the Don River, but it has something to do with the re-building of this area, and a new Don waterway. But I’m not sure what that means.
Week 28 Portrait: Family
We were lucky enough to get on the Le Suroit weekend trip of the Toronto Bike Club (formerly called the High Park Bicycle Club). This is an island just south of Montreal and is known for the old canals, which are not used anymore since the St. Laurence Seaway. Not sure if these geese are related or not, but it looked like a great family portrait.
Week 29 Landscape: Waterscape
While camping at Presqu’ile Provincial Park, and down at the beach in the evening, I saw this fresh-water mermaid sitting on a rock.
Week 30 Artistic: Patterns
We spend a lot of time on our backyard patio during the summer and I noticed the pattern, or texture really, of our patio door reflecting on the table. My original idea was to make just 1 photo (not a photoshop composite) of a naked woman in the door, reflected on the table, but I couldn’t find a naked woman who would go along with this.
