… In Port Dover.

A motorcycle rally held every Friday the 13th in Port Dover, Ontario, Canada since 1981. Its typical summer attendance exceeds 100,000 bikers. This is the biggest single-day motorcycle event in the world.

I was with my photographer friend Rob Skeoch with the Toronto-Analog-Film-Photographers

Everyone, especially the so-called outlaw clubs, were very friendly. I talked to many of them and when I asked if I could get their portrait, they were happy to oblige. I asked one guy if I could get his portrait, and he said “Knock yourself out”… but I was glad that he didn’t knock me out. 😅 Lots of leather, lots of ink, but due to the cold weather, the attendance was way down, so I’ll have to get back there later this year in July. Maybe get some semi-clad biker chicks. That would liven up this blog a little, don’t you think?
